“ We were looking for some good seafood in the area and we came across this place with the most delicious desserts that we have ever had. We were only there for Thursday, Friday and Saturday and we went to this place two times in a row. My girlfriend could not stop talking about the sweet potato pie And the red velvet and Blue velvet cakes. ”
“ The food is great and the service makes it even better. Love this place and I pray they stay consistant. ”
“ I opted for the jerk chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. I also got the cheesecake for dessert. Jerk Chicken Wings: These wings were so good. Even after my 12 minute drive, the wings were still hot and tasted fresh. The jerk sauce was a great combination of sweet and spicy. I was given a good variety of both flats and drums. MacNCheese: The mac tasted like it was from a country cookout. The portion size was good and it was delicious. It was creamy and had a great blend of cheeses and paired perfectly with the wings. Green Beans: These beans impressed me with the bold flavor. They were cooked perfectly, with a combination of tenderness and crispness. Strawberry Cheesecake: This was a last minute decision as I had not originally ordered it until I saw it upon arrival. This was THE BEST strawberry cheesecake I have had in my life. The crust was firm, and the cheesecake itself was rich and smooth. If you are debating on dessert. Do not hesitate to try this!! ”
“ Their food was ok, not as good as I expected. I got the catfish dinner with dirty rice and macaroni and cheese. The catfish was very salty, so l couldn't eat but half of a one. Which was sad for as much as it cost me. Their dirty rice was on point, and the macaroni and cheese was bland. The mini sweet potato pie was to die for, and the red velvet cheesecake was as good as the one from the cheesecake factory. The service was friendly and speedy, and the vibe amongst guests who were already there was calm and collected. ”
“ Having spent a productive morning at the library, I needed a bite to eat before finishing my errands for the day. The building is older and has been renovated in a red/black that brings to mind the nightclubs and lounges of my youth. The 80s/90s R&B music pumping through the speakers and the rap gods on the walls solidified the vibe. The menu was brief but filled with descriptive names for the food offerings. I selected the "Crowned Head" dinner of fried ribs, dirty rice and green beans. It arrived twenty or so minutes later because the food isn't prepared until ordered. My supper arrived in a take-out container, piping hot and highly seasoned. I may have found Kitchen Kings by accident but now I have a reason to find my way back. ”
“ On my way back to Atlanta from South Carolina, I decided to stop in Augusta for a bite to eat. My friend found a nearby place just off the highway, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The food exceeded my expectations--delicious and generously portioned. They offered a variety of sweets and drinks, and the lemonade was particularly refreshing. The vibe of the place was fantastic, and I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner. The service was impeccable. We ordered the oxtail boil, which did take a bit longer to prepare than we hoped, leaving my friend a bit impatient. However, the wait was well worth it. Overall, I loved everything about this restaurant and can't wait to visit again, especially considering its great location off highway by the riverfront. Thanks for the excellent service ”
“ The food is delicious and the portion sizes are great. The staff is friendly and the owners came out to greet customers. They also gave us free samples of the desserts (all of them were very good). We will definitely be going back. ”
“ Omg! This is the place y'all!! The food looks good. I haven't ate it yet. The service was on point. Greeted me as I came in. The vibe is early 90's music. That's was I like!! I was singing/bobbing the whole time I was in there. . It's a good ways out but it's worth your money. Oh did I mention they have plenty of sweets. ”
“ Got the fried ribs, Mac n cheese and fried green beans. Absolutely LOVED errrrrthang about it!! Nibbled on those ribs for 2 days and I was in big back heaven lol. I live in the A but I'm definitely going back as soon as I'm in town. Ambiance is real laid back and chill and the service was phenomenal. A young gorgeous man with nice dreads ( the owner I believe) saw me walk in looking confused and helped me right away! ”
“ First of all just let me say the vibe was everything!!! From the moment I walked in I couldn't stop singing. The food was fresh, I'm talking steaming hot and oh so tasty... The service was outstanding. Did I mention the homemade dessert counter walking in (breathtaking) the red velvet cupcakes melted in my mouth. A must try spot in Augusta. I can't wait to go back and try the seafood! ”
